The Entrepreneur in Residence is an immersive 8-week program to teach aspiring business owners about entrepreneurship and offer guidance from established small business owners. Selected business owners (called our Entrepreneurs in Residence or EIRs) will “work in public” from Entre-BSC for three half-days during their “entrepreneurship in residency” (1-week cycle). At the end of their residency, a “pizza lunch session” will allow guests to learn about entrepreneurship and ask the business owner questions about running their business.
Hear the stories of local entrepreneurs and how they grew from home-based businesses and humble beginnings to moving into commercial spaces, making consistent sales, building products and services, and scaling their businesses.
The PEP Talk series is an ongoing series that invites local small business owners to share their success stories about starting and growing a business. PEP, which stands for Prepare, Execute, Pivot, gives aspiring entrepreneurs a chance to learn firsthand the mindset, financial, skillset, and hands-on things that come with starting and maintaining a business operation.
